Put simply, Diabetes is a disease of sugar mismanagement. Type 2 Diabetes (the most common type) happens when the the body has chronic high sugar levels causing eventual bodily resistance to insulin. It is most often associated with obesity and poor lifestyle choices. Type 1 Diabetes, on the other hand, is an autoimmune disease that occurs from not being able to produce enough insulin due to the body attacking the pancreas (where insulin is created).
Diabetes is one of the top ten most common diseases in the world and in the United States. In the United States alone, there are approximately 34.2 million diagnosed and undiagnosed people with Diabetes and more than twice that with PreDiabetes. Smoking, obesity, physical inactivity, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol are all factors that are shown to be associated with diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes is largely managed by lifestyle improvements, while type 1 diabetes needs basal insulin prescribed by a physician. Both types of diabetes, however, can be improved by lifestyle improvements- the most effective being a better diet, quitting smoking, and an increase in physical activity.

We are so glad that you asked! ImmuniTea does exactly what it says and boosts your immune system’s defenses. How does it do this? Ten different ways. Each ingredient has its own unique property. For example- Mullein leaf is used as a treatment for whooping cough, sore throat, tonsillitis, diarrhea, migraines. It’s also been shown to have activity against some of the most problematic and infectious microbes- Klebsiella pneumonia, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli. Another major ingredient with powerful properties is Astralagus which has been shown to have cardiovascular, antihypertensive, diuretic, and antimicrobial properties. We know what can make you sick, and how, so we found ways to fortify your body’s defenses against those threats. That’s not all…it has a great taste too…because why not? Stay healthy out there!

Staying healthy is like building and maintaining a wall. You have an incredibly advanced defense system made up of both active and passive mechanisms and keeping these systems at their best is a complicated matter. What can be done at home to maintain those defenses? The skin needs vitamin C, moisture, and protection against damage- UV and otherwise.
The immune system needs a constant stream of protein, vitamins and minerals like Vitamin D and zinc, and training in the form of vaccinations and controlled exposure. Reflexes like mucous production, coughing and sneezing need to be kept at their best by avoiding smoking (cigarettes and/or vapes), and avoiding other possibly toxic substances. The body is made to fight off, suppress, and kill literally thousands of fungi, bacteria, viruses, and parasites and we can help you keep it in tip-top shape!

Avoid others who are sick with the flu or a cold or worse! If you can't avoid being around other potentially sick people, wear a mask or other protective gear. Viruses enter through the mouth, the nose, and the eyes so distance yourself or cover them up!
Stay healthy! We can help you with this part. Certain conditions like heart failure, diabetes, and even stress can lower your immune-system's capability of fighting infection, so strengthen them by eating health, exercising, and getting plenty of sleep. Check out our website for a few things that will take your diet from good to great!
Wash your hands. That's it, really. We touch so many things that have been touched by other sick people and the next thing you know, our hands are in our eyes or handling a piece of food. Sanitizer is good, washing your hands is better!
